Our Story
Founded in 2012 by RedSarah, The Fire School began with a simple yet revolutionary idea: fire arts should be accessible to everyone, and that it should be taught safely. There were no fire schools teaching people what fuels to use and how to look after their long term health.
The fire School is different from other fire academies as the focus is on slow growth and guidance through each stage of the fire journey with monthly training sessions available for practice and support. Aswell as the ONLINE community section of the App where you will find all the lessons in digital format to accompany the live sessions or for anyone who cannot get to the fire school can enrol online and get the same level of support..
Today, we're proud to be recognized not just for our world-class fire arts instruction, but as a beacon of inclusivity in the performance arts world. Every technique we teach, every safety protocol we follow, and every community gathering we host is infused with our commitment to creating space where all identities can flourish.

I traveled from Italy to London because from Instagram I was already realizing this was a great school to learn how to manipulate fire with professionalism, and I was not wrong. Sarah is an excellent teacher and professional fire performer, she take care of us in every moment and was sure to make us learn everything needed to do this. I learned how to do some tricks I wanted to learn so bad and I am very excited. I would recommend to anyone who is interested to learn this to invert on this art and in a good training as this one! I would definetly come back for the advanced class 🔥

I cannot recommend enough. I've wanted to learn fire for a very long time but I wanted to learn from a professional and safely. In person too! It was a safe space to ask questions and know you're in safe hands. Sarah takes the time to go through the foundations and why/how things work so you have a full understanding before doing the doing. If you wanna do things properly, look no further!!! After the class, you have access to the app module too so you can revisit what you've learnt. Fantastic offering. Can't wait to return for more 😍
